Tendonitis (Tendinosis)
Tendonitis (Tendinosis) is the term given to a tendon that has become inflamed or weak due to a previous injury or as a result of a trauma or a fall.
Tendonitis (Tendinosis) It is not only associated with people who partake in active sports. We often treat gardeners, carpenters, golfers and other people (especially those over 40) whose tendons have become less elastic and therefore prone to tearing.
Most commonly, we treat the Achilles (in the calf and heel) and the Tibialis Posterior tendon (in the calf and ankle to underneath the medial arch in your feet,) although Tendonitis can occur in almost all areas of your body where a tendon connects your bone to a muscle.
